Kejri’s Vagaries
Karan
Kharb
He's nothing
but a Bhaand from Haryana - one who'll spit on you and run away. If
caught he'd pull down his pants and shit on your clothes. What he relishes most
is his Nanga-lafanga conduct. As can be seen by everyone, he is a blot
on India’s Aam Admi who is hygienically cleaner and socially more humble than
his self-appointed mentor – Arvind Kejriwal who dresses like a riff-raff and
flaunts his unkempt, unwashed profile clumsily wrapped in a muffler as if he
were an intruder in a civilised society. His chronic coughing without covering
his mouth and nose-picking in public will put you off from shaking hands with
him. He is capable of walking naked; and would then dare others to bare their
bodies like him. If you felt shy and drove
away, he would hurl stones at you, giggle at you, ridicule you and abuse you. Warn him and he would shamelessly retort, “मेरा क्या ले लोगे? मेरे पास तो एक रुमाल भी नहीं है । पर
मैं आपकी पतलून ज़रूर ले लूंगा |”
(I wear nothing, not even a hankie on
me. What will you take away from me? I will surely rob you of your robes.).
No doubt, ethics in Indian politics have been steadily dropping in the face of
rising corruption. It this phenomenon of Indian politics – felled Ethics and
rampant Corruption – where cunning Arvind Kejriwal found an arena of risk-free
duels with lots of opportunities through cheap theatrics likened to the
unsuspecting common man (Aam Admi) of India.
I have known
some of his wheeling-dealing from pre-Anna days. Here are some facts that
portray his true picture:-
1.
An uncouth and opportunist of the worst order
although, he has used his benefactors like Anna Hazare, Aruna Roy, Justice
Hegde and many other noble souls as stepping stones.
2.
First, he had vowed in public that he would
never enter politics. He now turns out to be the most cunning politician bereft
of all scruples!
3.
He is indeed an 'anarchist' as he himself has
been candid and arrogant in admitting it. Kejriwal was stopped and
allowed after a harmless meeting with the police officers in Gujarat on 05 Mar
2014. Activists of the ‘touch-me-not’ AAP
felt so furious that they engaged themselves in stone-pelting with the BJP
staff at the latter’s headquarters at Ashok Road in New Delhi.
4.
He is guilty of filing false Affidavit (Form 26)
in which he dishonestly hid information about his assets etc during Delhi
elections.
5.
He had all along declared most eloquently and
even swore on his children that he would never have any truck with Cong or BJP,
which, he had called 'thoroughly corrupt' and 'two sides of the same coin'.
Yet, he greedily jumped into the Congress cradle to become CM despite having
fewer seats than the single largest Party in the Vidhan Sabha (BJP).
6.
He had sought people's 'permission' to form the
Govt but later, drooling to become PM, he simply disregarded people's opinion
and quit in a huff betraying people's faith and aspirations.
7.
Having tasted blood in Delhi elections, he now
dreams to be India's PM. Corruption and Jan Lokpal are now merely tools of
convenience that help him pursue his ambitions and hidden agenda.
8.
Intriguingly, while he has been gunning for
Ambani, he has remained faithfully quiet on TATAs (remember Niira Radia tapes),
Subrata Roy of Sahara, Jindal, Robert Vadra, Kalmadi and other Congress
cronies. Why?
9.
He spews venom against Modi on whose honesty and
Spartan credentials not even his avowed enemies have ever raised a finger. At
the same time, he again faithfully avoids raising a finger at RahulG's
credentials! Beware of him and his slimy gang who are out to destroy whatever
is left of Democracy in the country.
10.
Shifting his stance from his Delhi experience, ‘Mr
Clean - Kejri’ now says, “In the post-poll scenario no Coalition will be strong
enough to form Government without the support of AAP.” More than the merit of
his analysis, the statement exposes his greed to be a power broker – ‘PM’, if
possible – by allying with anyone. Lately, his softness towards Congress is a
pointer in that direction.
11.
He claims himself to be a follower of Mahatma
Gandhi’s ethics like Ahimsa but lives a life far removed from his idol. Lying
beneath his overt smile and simplistic appearance is a bitter, cruel revengeful
maniac who hurls humiliating expletives, name-calling and baseless accusations
upon his opponents. Ahimsa in practice is a much higher virtue than mere
avoidance of violence. Its three-fold practice must be lived in thought,
word and action. No other politician – howsoever unethical or
corrupt – has chosen to be so violent and vulgar in words as Arvind Kejriwal.
12.
"If he were to make money, he could have
made crores as an Income Tax Commissioner", his supporters say.
Others say, "He's a smart Baniya boy sharpened further by his experience
in Income Tax department. He aims high and wanted to grab thousands of
crores which, in today's environment, is possible if you could ramp up your
political value in India."
13.
Kejriwal follows three codes of ‘truth
verification’ – one for himself, 2nd for the Aap Admi Party and the 3rd
one for others. For his complaints against himself, he shall adjudicate; for
complaints against members of his Party, (like the Sting Operation expose or
Bharti’s misdeeds), the Party shall decide internally; for complaints or
suspicion against other Parties, SIT/CBI should investigate and report. How
blatant and funny!
I do not
belong to any Political Party; nor do I have any political ambitions. I do not chant for Hindus; nor do I decry Muslims.
I look for neither reservation quota nor subsidies. Well, I might accept election-time
freebies but shall NEVER vote for those who offer me such temptations. Having
been an infantry soldier and having fought to keep the country safe and intact
against external aggression, internal disturbance, terrorism, calamities or
epidemics, today I feel cheated and betrayed by these politicians some of whom
are hell bent to divide India along caste/communal/regional lines. They have
devised dubious strategies to deepen and widen these cleavages with ruthless
alacrity – only to perpetuate their hold on the vote banks.
Consider some
time proven realities to realise how politicians have been systematically
exploiting us. If reservations and subsidies were a cure for poverty
eradication, nobody would be poor today. If tools of appeasement doled out by Parties
like Congress and Samajwadi Party had helped Muslims, they would have been far
more advanced in all occupations. On the contrary, despite more than five
decades of Congress rule and a lot of pampering by Samajwadi Party, Muslims have
slid downwards socially, economically and educationally. They gave bread but
not the skills to earn. Popular sloganeering whipped up aspirations but kept
capacities closed. Remember – when give fish to a hungry man, you help him live
for the day. But if you teach him how to catch fish, you give him and his
family a living for life!
In Gujarat, I
was witness to this phenomenon in the post-quake, post-Godhra rehabilitation
period. Muslims, like any other community, found their messiah in Narendra Modi
who, despite his detractors, has all through steered clear off the Hindu Vs
Muslim humbug concentrating on holistic development. This unbiased approach has
fostered trust and goodwill among all communities. Holistic development, good
governance, transparency and equal opportunities to all are the open secrets of
Modi’s success in Gujarat. Even today,
while others are still lost in raising slogans of the same old communal bogey,
Narendra Modi is talking of holistic development, infrastructure, national
security, job creation, education, health, trade, agriculture, industry,
technology, and harmony. Who will not agree with him? He has the vision, capacity and other
leadership qualities that India has been craving for long.
While the clown
in Kejriwal can continue entertaining us, let us care for the future of the
country and not give in to anarchy. With the UPA, sunk deep under rampant
corruption and unending deluge of scams, and the Third Front remaining stillborn,
the only bright hope is Modi. Let’s rise above party-politics, communal
passions, to vote for the Future of India – Narndera Modi.
We may not agree with every idea of Modi. But then don't we often disagree
even with God's ideas? May your conscience guide you.
